Ceilus stroked the black cat that was curled up on his lap as he himself sat on the swingset of his porch. The cat wasn’t his. Where it came from or where it lived was a mystery to him, Ceilus had a way with cats; an almost natural affinity. He could befriend even the meanest of feral Toms. His weathered face turned towards the horizon as a gust of wind carried the multicolored leaves of autumn, his green eyes followed the path of the flying leaves. “I can feel it,” Ceilus said to the cat who continued to purr. “But a bit of the arcane in the air.” The man sighed wistfully, his brown hair was beginning to turn gray, but he still had a good few years left before he would well and truly feel old. He had always loved this time of year, it was a time of balance in all things, including the weather. The man shut his eyes and whispered a few words in a language known to but a few. He felt that familiar jolt of the arcane, there was so little of it in the world now, as the years
This weekend @inherownworld88 and I will be celebrating six years of being married. Though we've known each other for twelve years. We've had our high and low points, but I wouldn't trade what we have for anything.
Happy Birthday to the crazy goof ball also known as @MercenaryBlade! He is the best friend and husband I could ever hope for. He keeps me sane and laughing every day. I am super thankful that he is in my life! Time to spoil him rotten today.
